Fashion Is For EVERYONE

Here at Shine On, it’s really important to us that we cater for all shapes and sizes.

This became especially important to us when we first opened our retail store and Fee noticed a woman in the store who couldn’t find anything in her size. Feeling terrible, we knew that was something we never wanted to happen again.

So one of our missions became to provide fashionable clothing, at great prices, for ALL women. Fashion is for EVERYBODY at Shine On, we all want to look good, feel good, and we know that finding clothing we love can be a challenge regardless of what size you are.

One of the things we love about a lot of the brands we carry is that they celebrate the figure – they don’t hide it! We’ve got you covered with everything from casual to work to date-night and we are always adding more to the mix!

We also often request our suppliers make larger sizes just for us. Overall, our sizing ranges from an 8 – 24. Every week we are asking the people who make the brands we stock to start thinking about catering for all women – to think more about who is not their size 8 - 14 customer, and who is missing out! Both they AND we are!!!

And we are slowly having some success. Ideally one day, we will be able to offer each style of clothing in all sizes requested by our customers. But it is a journey to get there.

This April we were really excited to launch the Rebel Wilson x Angels brand and it is selling like hotcakes – we heard our customers asking for more fashion-forward clothing that celebrates curves, and this range definitely delivers on that, check it out if you haven’t taken a look yet!

We read the posts and comments and often respond, because we appreciate all feedback. We also have customers who are our reviewers – women just like you who we send clothing to, so they can post up a video review in the group.

While we use our own model to photograph a lot of our curvy ranges, we know our customers who can’t get to our retail store appreciate seeing reviews from real people in their bedrooms showing us the fall, the cut – at times the complete top to toe outfit from Shine On!

Our reviewers are paid in clothes – we just want their honest feedback to help our customers decide what is best for them, we don’t influence or edit what they say at all.
